Heater and UV Filter for 5ft Tank Aquaculture Forum Also, would like to get UV filter to control algae growth as Im using strong tanning lights。 I ever saw a UV filter that had no tubings, just placed into the tank, is it correctly used?

Any good heater model and brands for 5ft tank with 4ft sump? Intend to put in last compartment。
Thanks in advance bros

Thanks in advance bros Heater better get reluable brand, rena, sera eheim are good, although ex but have quality。
As for UV, you can use those place inside the fish tank directly, no need to be so troublesome to connect outside of the tank。 It is those type that is about 20 to 22 inches tall ones that have suction cups to be placed vertically or horizontally。
>Thanks for the recommendations bro patclay, will look up on those brands when I get the chance
>i use a kenis uv-337 bio filter on my 4 tank。 its an in-tank filter。 took about 3 days to clear up algae bloom。
>Heater, i would recommend Sera。 i use 2 of them in my 5 footer when i was acclimatising my Discus,Heater and UV Filter for 5ft Tank slowly lettig it adapt to cooler water。 I use 1 x sera 300 watts and 1 x sera 250 watts。
The good thing about sera heater is it comes with 5 years warranty, heater protector and its plug and play, turn dial to required temperature and drop it, no need to calibrate。
>I think need to spec。 the flow rate bfore considering a purchase, otw, it doesnt work/non effective to perform the zapping。
>According to heater specs, 300w is meant for 400 litres and below。 A 5ft tank is about 700 litres。 So two 300w heaters will be required。
