Mine live peacefully with my ray。。。 Anyway I put in a big DW so the sucker fish very busy cleaning。。no time to disturb my ray
>wont all suckers leech on the slime of the rays? my big ray kena many bad bites before。。 I saw some kinda algae away liquid, wonder if they work
>Read about this and you can DIY one for your own tank。
>Dot algea or hair algae - try ocean free O algea。
GREEN warer - UV
Then the most important is WC like 70%
I did this for my planted tank。 After wc 70% the dot algea slow down on growing。 Previously I did 20% all the time until a bro told me cos high bioload will cause high nitrate for comm aro tank。 Then I applied to my planted tank。 It works。
>alot of algae scrubber using sump。。 tight space is a challenge for me to install this。。 though it looks damn cool

I did try once before, not sure wat brand cos its hand me down, my aro nearly die
>my normal albino pleco does a decent job with algae and co-exists peacefully with my rays
>is albino more peaceful compared to black ones?
>Rays are sensitive to nitrates。 I suggest you combat your nitrate problem first before getting a pleco to eat the algae but leaving the rays to suffer with high nitrates。
The algae growth at least works as a sign that your nitrates are high。 Algae also help consume nitrates but I know its ugly。
